Customizing Report Headers

In this section, guidance is provided on how header customization can be performed for different types of transaction reports—Dashboard, Flexible, and Periodic. For each report type, headers can be selected, labeled, formatted, and ordered to control how the data is displayed in the exported file.

Steps to Customize Report Headers

The Fields tab should be accessed within the report configuration area.

The report's general configuration must be saved before navigating to the Fields tab.

After the general configuration process gets done On the left side, under Available Headers, all headers that can be added to the report will be displayed.

For detailed definitions of each header, refer to the Available Header Categories section.

Desired headers should be moved from the Available Headers section into the Selected Headers section on the right. Only headers in the Selected section will be included in the exported file.

To insert a static, non-dynamic header:

  1. The Add Static Header button should be clicked.

  2. In the form that appears, the following must be configured:

    • A Field Name should be entered (used internally by the backend).

    • An English Header Name must be defined (used in the exported report).

    • Optionally, an Arabic Header Name can be provided.

    • Optionally, a Static Value can be specified to appear in every row.

    • A Formatter should be selected to define how the value will be displayed (e.g., string, number, date)

  • The order of the selected headers can be adjusted to control their sequence in the exported file.

  • Custom labels in both English and Arabic can be set to enhance localization and readability. When a header is added from the Available Headers list, a popup window will appear, allowing you to enter new labels if needed.

Once customization is completed, one of the following options can be selected to finalize the setup:

  • Save – to apply the current configuration.

  • Save and add another – to immediately begin configuring a new report.

  • Save and continue editing – to save progress and return later for additional adjustments.
