Quick Start

Every payout in Ottu follows a simple lifecycle:

• Source: The bank or wallet connected to Ottu

• Merchant Account: Your account associated with defined source.

• Beneficiary: The person or company receiving money

• Payout Intent: A request to pay a beneficiary

• Approval Rules (Policies & Workflows): Optional checks before releasing money

• Execution: The actual transfer of funds

This flow makes payouts:

• Secure – policies and approvals prevent mistakes

• Flexible – supports multiple banks, accounts, and beneficiaries

• Automated – you can schedule or consolidate transfers

• Scalable – handle thousands of payouts every day

Create Your First Payout

Connect your bank as a Source.

Ottu Dashboard > Payout > Setup > Sources > + Create Source

Create a Merchant Account linked to configured source.

Ottu Dashboard > Payout > Setup > Merchant Account > + Create Merchant Account

Add Beneficiaries with their account details.

Ottu Dashboard > Payout > Beneficiaries > + Create Beneficiary

Create a Payout Intent (who to pay, how much, why).

Ottu Dashboard > Payout > Intents > + Create Intent

Approve the request if policies require it.

Ottu Dashboard > Payout > My Tasks

Execute the payout immediately or on a schedule.
