Merchant Accounts

Where all the merchant’s accounts connected to the source are listed and managed. Each merchant account represents the link between a merchant and a specific Source (such as a bank or wallet). This connection allows the merchant to initiate payouts through Ottu.

Think of a merchant account as the merchant’s profile inside Ottu that defines which source is used for payouts.

Connection

They link the merchant directly to a Source (bank or wallet).

A merchant can have multiple accounts connected to different sources

You can decide which merchant account should be used for a particular payout

Adding Merchant Account

Navigate to Merchant Account

Go to Setup → Merchant Accounts → Create Merchant Account

Fill Basic Information

Enter Account Details

Based on the selected Source, different fields will appear. For example:

  • Bank Source may require: Account Number, Currency Code, Account Type, Account Holder Name, and Address.

  • Wallet Source may require: Wallet ID, Mobile Number, or linked credentials.

  • Payment Gateway Source may require: PG Code, Integration Key, or other provider-specific fields.

Save the Account

After filling in all required fields, click Done. The new merchant account will now appear in the Merchant Accounts list.
