Sources

A Source is the bank or wallet account connected to Ottu. It serves as the starting point for all payouts, since funds are transferred from a source into beneficiaries.

At least one active source must be configured before merchant accounts, beneficiaries, or payout intents can be created.

Choose which bank account money will come from.

Flexibility

Connect multiple banks or wallets and switch between them.

Testing

Use sandbox mode to test payouts without moving real money.

Adding a Source

Navigate to Sources

Go to Setup → Sources → Create Source.

Fill in the Fields

Enter the required information for the source.

Source: This field specifies the financial institution or wallet that will be used as the payout origin. When a source is selected, its corresponding settings fields (such as Client ID and Client Secret) are automatically shown for completion.

Fill in Source Credentials

Enter the credential information associated with the selected source. When a source is defined, additional fields related to that source (such as Client ID and Client Secret) are automatically displayed and must be completed.

Save the Source

Save the new source to complete the setup.

The source is now ready to be linked to a Merchant Accounts, enabling the creation of payouts.
