In some cases, merchants may prefer to receive payments in their local currency, even when their customers are paying in a different currency. To support this, Ottu provides a convenient currency exchange service that simplifies the payment process for both merchants and customers. This feature ensures a seamless transaction experience, even when intermediary banks impose markup fees for currency conversion.
Follow these two simple steps to set up the currency exchange feature:
Navigate to the Currency Exchanges section within the Currency Tab. Then, click on Add Currency Exchange to begin the setup process.
Enter the required parameters, including the currencies involved and the desired exchange rate. Once you've entered all necessary details.
Click on Save to apply the exchange rate.
